LG G5 Review

LG G5 Review

Although LG is not a big competitor in the phone market now, but I really admire their mobile phones, they create a great technology in their mobiles, with a little bit lower price than the others, LG G5 comes with a lightweight (total weight of 159g), all metal alloy body which is available in a great variety of colors, LG G5 has gentle curves on the top of the device, this curves are done by the Arc Glass, all of this is about 0.30 inches in thickness.

LG G5 comes with a dual primary cameras, 16MP (f/1.8), and the second one with only 8 MP (f/2.4), these 2 cameras can capture a very wide-angle photos (up to 135 degrees) with a great quality, primary camera can record Ultra HD videos, the secondary camera is 8MP (f/2.0) and can record 1080p videos.

The display of the LG G5 is a very good experience, A 5.3 inches, LPS LCD capacitive touch screen, covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, LG G5 has a good fingerprint (rear-placed), and comes with a Removable Li-ion 2800 mAh battery that can charge 83% in just 30 minutes (quick charge 3.0), it is a Slide-out battery which can be swapped in a flash that can help you to stay connected.

LG G5 runs with Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow), and it is upgradable to v7.0 (nougat), and Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, with a strong CPU, Quad-core (2×2.15 GHz Kyro & 2×1.6 GHz Kyro), it is also comes with 4gigabytes of RAM.

LG G5 comes with only two versions (single SIM & Dual SIM), 32 gigabytes of internal memory and you can add up to 256 gigabytes MicroSD, the single SIM version the MicroSD has a dedicated slot, and the Dual SIM uses SIM2 slot.

It is available in Silver, Titan, Gold, Pink colors, when you open the box, the first thing you will see is quick start-up guide, the phone, charger and USB-C cable.

You can buy an extra battery and a Charging Cradle which is an awesome deal to stay fully charged by swapping between the 2 batteries, or you can use this Charging Cradle as a power bank to charge any USB compatible devices (tablets and smartphones).

Now comes the disadvantages, for me, I can’t stand a phone that doesn’t come with its headphone, LG G5 is one of them,  and of course there is no 3.5mm jack, they force you to buy their Bluetooth LG TONE PLATINUM  a Bluetooth Headphone).
